I was told by a photographer once that I should grow my hair long as it would up my chances in regards to modelling as you can do more with long hair. I am wondering what people think of this, as I am thinking of getting my hair cut soon but don't want to chop it all off if it's going to jeopodize my chances.

Also are highlights, extensions, or anything else like that a no-no?

I have very long hair and I've been told never to cut it; because of my long hair I get a lot of casting calls for stuff to do with hair: l'oreal, bedhead, regis etc. I advise you to grow your hair out; but that's my personal opinion. Good luck!

You should really do what suits your face. I had very long brown hair until October when I had it cut short and dyed blonde for a show, I get more casting calls now than I did when my hair was long. Go to a good hairdresser and see what they think. They can usually tell what suits different faces.

Mid length hair is a good choice as you can do alot with it. But you need to think if it will suit your face also.

Like alex said, i definatly think its wot suits you face, a cut could be change ur look drastically.
My problem is SHOULD I DYE MY HAIR!
I used to be alot lighter but have gone dark over the years, now i dont know what colour to call it, its not blonde or brown! I have been tempted for years to dye my hair lighter! I think it makes some people look x10 better. What you think people, sorry dont have too many pics. please help!!
p.s alex, your photos are really nice, where did you get them done?

Hair is one of those things that can be changed constantly, because it grows and you can always get back to your favourite look!

Long hair rocks.
