Hey i am brand new to this site, and have been asked to come down to spot studio to have some proffesional pics taken, i'm sure you've all been asked the same, but it's free for the shoot but £35 per photo to keep. It seems like a good idea, but is it worthwhile doing in turns of increasing the chance of me getting jobs? Any advice would be appreciated

it is a good deall but its just to get a portfollio you can find cheeper places that will do the exact same

If you are looking to get into modelling then any good modelling agency will be happy with just a snap shot. You don't need to have professional pictures taken to be able to get into a modelling angency. If you are accepted by an agency then they will usually take professional pictures of you to put on their books so clients can view you. I made the mistake of spending hundreds on a portfolio when i actually didn't need to!
