Any way a company called fresh rang me and yeah yeah yeah the usual crap"oh you have been selected out of thousands of applicants you are through to the next stage." So i ask what the next stage is, they tell me i have to have a photo shoot with them and i have to pay 30quid which they claim is refundable. I told them i dont need a photo shoot asi have a good portfolio with a collection of around 100 pics. Surely you would think they could use some of those? wrong they have to be their pics. I asked if i were under obligation to buy any pics they said no yet in the final rounds you have to show your folio that has been done by them, how the hell are you to do this if you dont buy the pics cos they sure as hell dont give them you. the other link for the fresh company that rang me is http://www.freshacademy.co.uk/ this company may i add charge 650 for their portfolios, SCAM SCAM SCAM. just glad that i am clued up on this but some poor people will be ripped off by them. How the hell are these companies allowed to get away with it. So a note for everyone that may have seen the advert, stay away in my opinion its a real classic scam.

so what do you do when you get to the final rounds if selected? it states on the website that you use the portfolio that they do for you? if you dont buy any photos how can you use them in the future rounds? I have lots of pics and a fair few poloroids. Why cant they just use these?

I have got into the 2 round of this competition for 2011 and I am looking for more info if you can give me it.

Is this legit? Do you only get to the finals if you have a Fresh Portfolio as I have my own and wouldn't want one when I got for my entry shoots?

If you can help me out that will be great?

Oh and also the £30 deposit I understand if you waste their time you dont get it back but why would you book an appointment for a competition if you didnt want to be in it? Should I pay this do you get it back?
